USDA Seeks Public Input on Genetically Modified Pest-Resistant Soybean

Just last week, USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service asked for public comments on yet another GMO. It wants input about a petition to deregulate a type of soybean, developed using genetic engineering to control certain lepidopteran pests.
